E.R.A. promotes its activity to develop and strengthen a conscious participation of the radio amateurs in society.

This aim, carried out through the free and conscious will of each member to enrich their own ethics, radio-amateurs culture, binds E.R.A. to take initiatives that encourage sociality within the respect of man and inspirited by those values of freedom and fraternity known by the radio amateurs.

E.R.A. is a free association that neither can be conditioned nor led by any external organization, nor collective nor individual.

E.R.A. has relationship with each politics, religion and society, with no discrimination of origin, religion faith or politics and rejects violence of any form.

The members of E.R.A. acquire and promote the principles of the O.N.U. declaration regarding men rights to eliminate the barriers between people, promote the European Federation and activities in C.E.E. area, even through exchanges and/or agreements and similar associations in European Nations.

The radio-amateurs who live in Europe could become members of E.R.A.
